Concentrated since always on the human figure, and more particularly on the face, the works of Ksenia SIC falls under the problems of the representation of the individual, reactivated by contemporary painting at the beginning of the Eighties. However, its portraits, which they are identified (portraits carried out according to photography or model, since 1991), anonymities or imaginary, are less portraits, with the traditional and mimetic direction of the kind, which "antiportraits" returning account of a universal humanity.
