Artist Reply: Thanks Deborah! It's nice to see a creative way to show and share one's patriotism. I used to live in this general area, so have missed it. I'm glad there's lots of family about, and I will be able to go spend more time looking for scenic barns and pastures in the future. This trip was so busy, and humid, I hardly had time to go to where I wanted to. Will try next year.

Artist Reply: Thanks Blue Doll!!! I so miss the green after living out in the deserts of Arizona. I get the need to drive up to the mountains to see real forests. I've planted several pines around the house.

Artist Reply: Thanks Laurie! It was fun, and we had some crazy adventures along the way to and from. It was a one of a kind trip that we knew we'll never all have time to do again together. He son had fun with a little "spy" camera I gave him. He took photos of everything. He played dectective, talking to the camera, it does short videos without sound. It surprized us with how good he was at taking photos. He got to use my cameras as well, a budding photographer. Misty & I took time to make sure we didn't chose the same subjects to both post up. A few we might, but with different angles. I may be doing some paintings, like of the beautiful horse fiels w/sunflowers, but she posted photos. She's realy growing fast as both photographer and creative with her manips and begining computer art. She's always been very expressive with poetry and writing. Runs in our family. We all seem to draw, paint, write stories, poetry, or songs. We didn't even realize how many of us did until this summer on our travels and visiting with family along the way.
