Artist Antony Collings was born in the historic city of Canterbury, Kent. Since studying Art and Design in Kent, England during the late 80's early 90's he is finally starting to find his direction in life. Travelling for the past 15 years has given him an oppurtunity that most people could only dream of, his travelles have taken him to the far flung corners of the world, serveral times over, Africa, Asia, South America, Europe, South Pacific, South Atlantic, North Atlantic, Middle East, Far East, Carabean, Antillies, America, Medeterainian, Baltic the list is endless, but what about painting? Well he never stopped his passion for art and carried on Painting around the world whilst soaking up the local culture and traditions. Whilst abroad you would often find him losing himself in a local Brazilian Art market or African craft fair. The fuel for inspiration was mind blowing.

Having now set up as studio in a cliff top retreat in his hometown of Broadstairs, Kent, He passionately creates original contemporary abstract paintings and enjoys every aspect of modern design. Experimenting with all kinds of textures and paint combinations is the way Antony likes to work, to him it is all about creating that all important wow factor that is needed to give a blank wall the energy it deserves.
