Artist Bio

Lindsay Petrick is an illustrator and fine artist working and living in Baltimore, Maryland. She received a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in illustration from The Maryland Institute, College of Art in 2007.

Her work has been part of several group exhibits and has been published in several forms of print such as: magazines, newspapers, posters, apparel, and souvenirs. She will also be published in the new American Illustration, coming out in november 2008. Influences of Lindsay's include: Alphonse Mucha, Salvador Dali, N.C., James, and Andrew Wyeth, Hieronymous Bosch, Pop Surrealism, Art Nouveau, music, politics, and people. Mediums she uses are acrylics, pencil, ink, watercolor and digital media. Lindsay has a very distinctive style that can be applied to a wide variety of products such as: posters, CD covers, book covers, book interiors, children's books, youth oriented product packaging, gift cards, stationary products, greeting cards, editorial, advertising, and fashion.
