Artist Bio

Jennifer Ann Ogren started her obsession with photography at the age of 7 when she tried to capture her little newborn sisters every move. From there, Jennifer went on to graduate from both UCSD in 1996 and Otis College of Art + Design in 2005. She has participated in many art shows including a solo show at Eastside Studios, L.A. Arts For Katrina Relief, The Silverlake Art Crawl, Artistic Insomniacs, The Sierra Club Auction (to raise money for environmental causes), Transistor Lounge in Chinatown and Simple.Sex.e at the Ultrastar Studio. She teaches photography to underprivileged children through the Venice Arts Organization. A graphic designer by trade, her passion is for fine art photography. Jennifer loves to live life to the fullest and torture her friends with her many cameras. She drinks too much coffee & hates to sleep because there are so many other things she would rather do. She loves art in all forms because "Art makes sad things beautiful. It makes things incredulous simply because they are a pungent slice of life, perhaps negative but amazingly alive."
