Many things going on these days. New paintings have been posted of some designs that I've been asked to paint for submissions. I can't believe how fast the summer has flown by! Fall/Autumn--not my favorite time of the year, I really love the summer and the long days. How was your summer? Did you get to travel or do anything special? My wife Tricia and I went to two concerts this summer at the CMAC shell. In June we went to see Lady Antebellum and Darius Rucker, and Thompson Square. What an Incredible show! We had lawn seats and watched the concert mainly on the big screens outside the shell. It rained a little, but we were prepared with umbrellas and hoodies. The second show that we saw was Kelly Clarkson and The Fray on August 29, and though Lady Antebellum was Fantastic!---This show was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME...the difference is we had seats inside the shell and about 50 feet from the stage so that we could actually see the performances and it was really Fantastic!... The Fray was so Incredible! Isaac Slade.. the lead singer from The Fray was so Incredible! The opening act was Carolina Liar and they were Awesome as well. Hope you had a great summer. I've been having a great deal of difficulty with the funding of my Kickstarter Project. Support has been so incredibly hard to find. I'm reaching out as much as I can and I appreciate the opportunity to connect with the members in this group. My project is to raise funds for the publishing of not just one picture book..but my next 2 picture books. I have experience in the publishing world with my first 2 books..the difference this time is I retain all the control of my books as well as the marketing of my books. I'm all over the internet and I work really hard at getting my name and my work out into the world. I posted my latest 16 x 20 Painting today. April 7, 2012. It's Easter Weekend and I love this time of the year. Spring is such a great time, it's nice to see everything to wake up from the cold winter months and come alive again. Though, I must admit that this past winter was very mild and we didn't have much snow at all. I thought I would post a new entry today. I've been receiving some emails indicating that someone is reading my blog posts on this site, and some of the posts are in response to some of my much older blog posts specifically on this site. With a new year upon us, I am more determined than ever to break into the licensing business. I have 2 books that I am seeking publishing for and possibly a third. In addition to those endeavors. I am working on new art all the time and hope that there will opportunity of equal nature in the art field as well. While I truly enjoy the holiday season, I'm kind of glad that it's over allowing me to focus on my passions of painting and writing. I hope that the new year finds all of you well and ready for the challenges of the new year with success the outcome of your hard work and determination.
