Where to start, here is as good as any. I live in Florida near a great beach with my husband, my cat Max and my dog Prince Charles Edward Albert the III, Chas for short and I am loving life.
I have done to many things along the way to get where I am now.I have a Degree in Elementary School Education, taught Kindergarten. I owned a soft sculpture doll business Blessed Events and my dolls sold nationally. I was an invited featured artist to show and sale my dolls at Walt Disney World. Mickey Mouse is one of my best buds now ;-). I owned an Antique and Arts and Craft Shoppe, Miss Maymes. I oversaw the operation of The Beaches Arts and Crafts Gallery, a non- profit gallery that supported the operation of the senior citizens Dial-A-Ride Van. I am a member of The Beaches Fine Arts League and I hold numerous awards from various art shows in the region. After I sold my doll company I became involved in Real Estate for the next 20 years. During this time I designed a line of greeting cards for Coldwell Banker Real Estate, newsletter and comic strip for Centex Homes, Newspapers and Flyer design for many builders and Real Estate Agents along with painting many a mural in model homes. I was able to retire from real work and started working on my next career. I am now a full time Artist/Illustrator. I have illustrated numerous children's books. I am currently a member of The Society of Childrens Book Writers and Illustrators, International Readers Society, Walt Disney Collectors Society, Artzgalaxies, and The Cumner Museum of Art and Gallery.
