An aerial picture of Frenchay village, Bristol BS16 showing where Frenchay Hill Road and Church Road meet. Also visible is Quarry Road, Tuckett Lane, and Beckspool Road.ARCHAEOLOGISTS PLEASE NOTE THAT IN THE GREEN TO THE RIGHT OF THE FRENCHAY CHURCH THERE APPEARS TO BE SOME INTERESTING MARKS VISIBLE IN THE GRASS SHOWING POSSIBLE SIGNS OF EARLIER INHABITATION. I would be interested to hear more about the archaeology of this green from anyone with local knowledge.
