I am 73 year old digital arftist from Hyderabad, India. For someone who had close encounter with fine art at a young age, coming back to painting on full time basis was an enjoyable homecoming after a long academic career. Within a short span of eight years I have done more than 500 digital paintings. I start with my own 2D compositions in Painter and refine these in Photopaint. A variety of treatments and effects can be created (or altered) much more easily on the digital canvas than on a physical canvas. Digital medium gives greater power of creation and aesthetic refinement. To me spirit (ideas and feelings) is more important.
