I am a professional portrait painter using traditional techniques of the Dutch Old Masters; part of the new wave of super-realists, now becoming very popular. I have exhibited at National Portrait Gallery and Mall Galleries, London and at The Louvre in Paris, Jan 2009. In 1999 I was awarded the Honorary Freedom of Worshipful Company of Painters, and Freedom of City of London. I work mainly by commission and exhibit rarely. Past commissions have included BBC News Correspondent Kate Adie; the Rt. Rev. Dr. Anthony Russell, Bishop of Ely; James Crowden, CVO, K.St.J., DL, former Lord Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire; The Earl and Countess of North Esk; Judge Sam Katkhuda, and many company chairmen, headmasters and other such official portraits.
