Artist Bio

Michael Murray graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2000 with a degree in Product Design, but then developed an interest in computer game art. After spending a couple of years as a games artist in London, he returned home to Glasgow to pursue a career as a digital artist.

His work involves using photography and computer software to create a fusion of colour, texture and detail to create very exciting original pieces of digital artwork. Subjects vary from enhanced photographs of architecture to complex photo collages involving various objects.

Collections may be found in Starbucks, Glasgow, The Scottish Arts Council Office, Edinburgh, and various offices, bars, and cafes in Glasgow.

His first solo exhibition was held at the Lloyd Jerome Gallery in Glasgow, February 2005.
