Early on, I found that I could express myself better through arts than words. Whatever I create makes me happy... There could be a piece that I may not like few weeks later, but at that moment there is a sense of achievement, pride, and fulfilment in creating something out of nothing... This feeling is probably what keeps all the artists motivated.

I know little, and have a lot more to learn - before I find again that I know very little. I enjoy this site as a constant motivation and a place to meet talented artists.

I am a self taught artist. I started experimenting with sketching in college years, then didnt do much while getting started in my career. I started actively painting again in late 2004. I wish i had more time to paint, but then who doesn't!!

I mostly work in watercolor - because I like the fluidity and effects i can achieve with this medium. I have started working in oils again, and discovered pastels recently.
