Born in Gyumri, Armenia on July 15, 1982. My parents took me to art classes since i was four years old. After the 1988 tragic earthquake in Armenia we moved to United States. I've been in Los Angeles since 1991. Continued taking art classes, been to too many schools, not because they kick me out or anything, but just couldn't find my place. Been to three colleges, and now I am a 3rd year student at Otis College of Art and Design, studying digital media. I fell in love with the idea of bringing characters to life after watching the old Disney films. Figurative art and character development are my passions. I am trying more and more to get better in character animation. Some of the artists that really inspired me are Euan Uglow, Lucian Freud, Giacometti, and my mentor Marjan Hormozi. I love working with the figure, I love the idea of taking the human figure apart and putting it back together, and giving it life.
