Kevin was born in Portland, Oregon in 1976. During his childhood, he lived on a small farm in the country and usually entertained himself for hours on end by drawing and making art projects with his three siblings. At the age of twelve, Kevin developed a rare form of leukemia which forced him to look at the uncertain odds of his future. He left middle school and began the long healing process. During this time, he turned to his art as a means of escaping from the discomfort of his condition and to communicate his feelings. The intensity within his drawing grew and he found himself longing to pursue art. His formal education in art was completed at Western Washington University. Kevin currently paints and resides in Stockholm,Sweden.
