Biography

Based in Los Angeles, CA, I am an artist primarily working in painting and photography. I also create works using mixed media techniques and digital processes.

Born in Santa Monica in 1982, I developed an early interest in science and nature. After taking up painting in high school, I attended Pomona College, where I studied philosophy, music and poetry, before deciding to pursue a career as an artist.

While the greatest impact on my work has been my own life, my formal studies in art, as well as my background in other fields, have also influenced my work. Past teachers have included David Schoffman, Enrique Martinez Celaya, Mercedes Teixido and Sheila Pinkel.
