Self Portrait

I began drawing cartoons as a young kid at about the age of 7. I would draw superheroes such as superman, batman.I was quite good at it, my neighbors were impressed. In elementary grade school, I won awards for excellence in the field of art. My teachers and fellow students were very impressed with my work. In high school, I received another award for excellence in Visual Arts. Between 1989-91, I studied Fine Arts at Dawson College in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. During my stay there, they taught us drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking and so much more. In 2 years, i graduated and got my degree. In 1991 I studied Civil Engineering at Dawson College again for 3 years. Civil Engineering involves the study of building roads, bridges, housing and more. It was a sharp detour from my art career, I somehow decided that art was not a viable means of making money and I decided to change fields. After graduating from there, I studied Computer Engineering at the university level. I struggled a lot with the courses, and it was clear to me that i wasn't going to make it, so i decided to pursue other ventures. Finally, after exhausting all avenues, i decided to return to art.
