Bob retired from a career in manufacturing a few years ago and began to follow a dream from an earlier time in his life. He took several classes from established artists and began to create his own works in pencil, watercolor, oils, pen and ink, pastels, and colored pencils.

His work has been displayed in several businesses, the Coburn Gallery at Ashland University, the Loudonville Chamber of Commerce, The Ashland County Fair, The Loudonville Public Library, Creative Images Gallery in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, the Ohio Department of Transportation in Ashland, Ohio, Samaritan Health Center in Ashland, a solo show at the Ashland Center for the Arts, and now in his own "Stonewall Gallery" in Loudonville, Ohio.

He has done commission work for many individuals and businesses, and is currently working on a series of "Limited Edition Giclee Prints" of some of his work.

We are all born artists. We are each are given a blank canvas on which to create our lifes masterpiece. The joy, and the sorrow is that we are also given the choice as to which colors we lay upon that canvas.

The trick is the wisdom to know which colors are our own, and which are dictated by our perception of what our peers demand of us.
