I am a freelance illustrator originally from Petersburg, Illinois. After high school, I majored in design in Carbondale, Illinois at Southern Illinois University. In 2002, I transferred to the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia where I received a BFA in illustration. After earning my degree, I began a part-time career freelancing. The freelance work I have done has ranged from business cards, to portraits, to medical illustrations, wedding invitations and even large scaled landscape paintings. I have touched upon a very wide variety of design projects. In addition, I have worked in theaters painting large backdrops and murals as a set designer. In the past, I have been requested to do a lot of watercolor paintings. I typically use acrylics, although, I am able to use almost any media. Most recently my focus has moved to the invitation business. I am primarily working on wedding invitation design, which is more graphic work and I really enjoy doing it. I have loved to paint, draw, sculpt, create, for as long as I can remember. My favorite artists are Bob Ross, Dali, and I really admire David Shannon.
