Born and raised in Michigan, I have always been drawn to and involved with wildlife, it's mysteries and it's preservation.

As a librarian I know the power of books and the written word, and as an artist I recognize the power of art.

I hope to bring the two together to create books that spark the imagination and encourage environmental awareness.
