Born in Albany, NY, David moved to California while still a preteen. He studied theater arts (acting, singing, dance, guitar, video production) at Bancroft JRHS Performing Arts Magnet and Van Nuys SRHS Performing Arts Magnet. His guitar playing was influenced in high school by his school bus driver who jammed with him frequently.
David is a member of California Youth Theater. He starred in a dance and light show performed at the Hollyhock House. The narrators for the show were Ed Asner and Lynn Redgrave. David acted the role of the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
David attended CSUN and there his yen for photography was nurtured. He took a photojournalism class and did freelance photography for the Sundial. He also took many photographs on his travels to Canada, Malaysia, Korea, Germany, Italy, and France.
Finally, David has done Wedding and Child photography. David likes both subjects.
Weddings, according to David, "Have so many unique moments that can never be captured again."
Child photography allows David to capture these angelic little humans either in their innocent or devilsh behavior. In either case, their naiveness makes either behavior look very cute to adults.
David is married to a lovely Professional Malaysian Artist, Siti Nuriati (www.artwanted.com/sitinuriati), who does Color Pencil and Pastel Portraits.
On 03/01/2007, David's story of a downed transformer was featured in the print edition of Los Angeles Daily News (the Valley News section).
On 04/12/2007, David's story about the Easter activities, featuring a picture of his son getting his face painted, at the Sherman Oaks Galleria was featured in the print edition of Los Angeles Daily News (the Valley News section).
On 04/26/2007, David's picture of featured Artist Siti Nuriati was on the front page of the print edition of Los Angeles Daily News (the Valley News section).
On 05/17/2007, David's story of a day of free movies at Universal Studios Citywalk was featured in the print edition of Los Angeles Daily News (the Valley News section).
