Working primarily with oil and acrylic paints, the majority of Tree Pruitt's work falls into the category of "conceptual art". She also creates gallery quality Native American style Folk Art items & jewelry, often using primitive methods pre-dating the 1900's, as well as her own interpretation of style. From her photography, Tree transforms images into digital paintings or photomanipulations, specializing in a low resolution method. Her styles often reflect social & political issues, metaphysics, spirituality & existential matters of the human condition. Art works from Tree are found in private collections around the world, including the sociopolitical collection of Mr. Bryan Dodd.
