Fiona achieved one of her lifetime ambitions by combining an exceptional sales background with a deep passion for art. As founder of Classified Art Limited which trades as 'art24seven', she forged new standards for representing local artists and successfully helping them to market and sell their work. The up and coming launch of a visual arts magazine, from the art24seven site is an unprecedented and exciting new venture that will showcase the work of local artistic talent around the globe.
After spending time in Canada, Germany and Brunei, Fiona is now back in her homeland, Scotland. She was born in Malta and has traveled and worked around the world. Her strong track record within sales sectors is demonstrated by her 15 plus years of experience building and maintaining corporate and professional relationships in many industries. In addition to displaying the highest levels of new business generation and account building skills, Fiona is able to think outside the box - exploring new market opportunities, assessing their value and then turning them into successful ventures.
Educated in Scotland, Fiona initially trained and worked in administration and tourism, before moving into sales. She combines exceptional administrative and organizational skills with sales savvy. This has allowed her to champion the arts sector in a business orienatated, yet sympathetic manner that is unique in within the industry. As a single parent with two young children she claims that 'she never has a free moment - for anything!'
Fiona's own work can be seen on this site. She works mainly in acrylic, oils and mixed media. As can be seen, colour and texture are a prominent feature in her work.
She says that much inspiration came from Francis Boag, one of Scotlands top 10 contemporary artists who just so happened to be her art teacher at school. Fiona has participated in many small exhibitions with the most prominent one being as an invited international artist whilst living in Brunei. The exhibition 'Women in Art' was held at the magnificent Empire Hotel & Country Club Gallery in Brunei Darrussalam.
