I'm an Australian digital artist, based in Western Australia.
My artwork reflects my spirit and explores emotions through abstract expressionism and surrealism. My signature style features highly detailed, dynamic digital pieces, with a spicy mix of horror and emotional sensitivity. With strong visual narratives and a unique take on the concept of dark art, my artwork expresses a variety of meanings intended to deeply inspire each viewer.
I have been working in digital painting for over 25 years, refining and perfecting my style. With the rise of A.I. art generation, I have found myself having to defend my art and style on a constant basis. This is a sad turn of events as I have never used A.I. software in any pieces I have created. My artwork begins from a small rough sketch and grows into the finish pieces you will find throughout my portfolio here. I am extremely passionate about what I create and I will defend my style and art against anyone who accuses me of creating art with A.I.
I've always been in love with the style of Tim Burton and viewers will see similarities between my art and Burtons own style. However, my artwork also adds a touch of dark surrealism with a taste of Lovecraftian thrown in for added flavour. I have always been fascinated with the images my mind conjures up whenever I read Lovecraft stories and this is displayed in my finished pieces.
I am a member of the Dark Art Movement Art Gallery and viewers will see why I have been accepted into this rare and prestige art community, as my artwork carries very dark, morbid and horrific overtones.
