I am a local artist in the Pikes Peak Area of Colorado. I have been an artist for as long as I can remember. I spent much of my childhood covering myself and the things around me with paint. Every inch of my bedroom walls were covered with collage work and my photography. My closet walls showcased my abstract painting instead of clothes. I have a passion for art that runs through my body and spirit. In every sunset I see layers of paint, in every wave I try to memorize it's power and movement, and in every face I notice the unique lines.

Many different types of mediums appeal to me. Colored, graphite, and charcoal pencils when I'm on the go; acrylics/watercolors on rainy days; sculpture to release tension; pen and ink when I am unable to devote constant time to my work; and oils when I have time just for myself.

Expressing myself through art is to create something that exists outside of my soul. As we all are constantly changing and growing; my art represents postcards along my personal journey in life.
