Texas-born MariNaomi creates colorful paintings reminiscent of her comic book background. A self-taught illustrator and painter, she has been publishing comics since 1997, and exhibiting paintings since 2002. Her passions for satire, irony and animal liberation are a continual source of inspiration in her artwork.
MariNaomi has exhibited art at venues throughout the San Francisco bay area, including Femina Potens, Spanganga and the Pond Gallery, and she has done live painting for iCan, Porfilio Is, Seen Gallery, the Institute for Unpopular Culture, Girl Powder and more. Her paintings can be found in private collections worldwide. She currently resides in San Francisco with Rick and Kitty.
