Hi! My name is Christel. I am a single mom to a six year old girl and I work part time doing nails in a salon. I have also been painting as a side venture for quite some time. I work primarily in acrylic, and like to paint decorative household objects as well as 2D paintings. I live in Anchorage, Alaska and have lived in Alaska most of my life. I majored in art at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. I have also spent a couple of years living in Albuquerque, New Mexico, which is where I went to cosmetology school. I'm a big collector of mid-century household objects and I get alot of my inspiration from that era of design.
