Amy Albert has been painting for many years. She considers herself a Still Life Colorist.

After graduating from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Amy Albert went on to become a successful Textile and Surface Designer in New York City. Her Design Work can be seen today on many rugs, fabrics, and tablewear.

Although she receives immeasurable satisfaction from her work in the Textile and Surface Design Field, Amy never forgot her first love, Oil Painting.

Since moving to the famous artists' town of Woodstock, New York, Amy has poured her creative energies into her Oil Painting. She has studied at the Woodstock School of Art, as well as privately with the well known artist, Karen O'Neil.

Today Amy can be found in her north lit studio working on her Still Life Paintings. Her dog, Smokey, and cat, Rudy are usually close by, and are very generous critics.
