Painting with Saliva

This is rather strange, I in fact made a miniature painting of the famous nymph from the "Ajanta Caves" with my saliva using water colors when I was only 15 years of age in the 80s, saliva instead of water because I was sitting on the bed and feeling lazy to get water for my color box...

It is only a few years from now that I came to know that during Renaissance times the artists used to prepare the base of the canvas/colors using even their urine.....

So has anyone used their saliva to paint ....

Haha, I have not used my saliva to paint- but I have to admit, I really like the idea!! Maybe I shall try it...

Didn't Dali use his 'fertilization fluid' in some of his paintings? I know he had collections of pubic hair and nail clippings too. I don't know whether he used this in his artwork, but it wouldn't surprise me :)
