This represents the inner light inside us. Even if terrible things happen around us, we all hold this beauty inside as long as we take the time to see it. Whether it is from the perspective of love and empathy or from a purely rational and logical perspective, brutality, war and revenge are harmful and only create more pain? Imagine if we took all these things off the table? I have created this work using stucco get with the neon yellow, neon pink and neon orange acrylic paint to give the paint some thickness and texture. In the center of some of the circles, you can find colored plastic beads with gold designs that I attached to the canvas with gel molding paste mixed with gold acrylic. Some of the inner circles have beads and others just contain colors of acrylic paint with stucco gel. The circles are on a purple backdrop. The painting is complete at this point and when it dries I will seal it with a layer of varnish.
