Ghost Ship of the Dutchman

©Seth F.Weaver, Sr. 1982. Acrylic on mixed media. This work was inspired by the legend of the Flying Dutchman. Under a sea of stars, the ship sails, never needing captain or crew, nor even wind. She haunts the waves, and follows the full moon. Alone at sea, endlessly for an eternity. Pray you don’t see this ship cause it could be your doom.

Almost tears off my eyes because of nostalgia: I was the shipboy on Flying Dutchman when I was a kid :-) Full of mistery; you "got" the "atmosphere", Seth.

Artist Reply: Thank you former shipboy of the Flying Dutchman for this response to your trip down Memory Lane. Thank you you "Clever Rascal."
