The "Bigg "six is a study in night open air. My hometown, Connellsville Pa. 15425, is a great place to study open air. The Bigg Six is a closed bar in the city. It is build in the concrete pillars of the (?) railway line that once cut in half the Westside of town. There are around 40 locations in the city that are well lite enough to work as a open air night study. I will be adding a new study as often as I am able. I enjoy the peacefulness of the night, I am less distracted and feel like I'm not in the road of normal day light business. I feel very safe doing this practice, the police are very active in the city, but I am aware of my surroundings at all time. If you attempt night open air please do so with caution. All of the night open air studies are worked on a 8x11 watercolor board meduim: calk pastels, graphtie, oil pastels, and charcoal. Most studies take around 3 hours to complete.
