©Seth F.Weaver,Sr. 11/30/07. A Compullage™work. It is freezing cold out in those long winter months at their little mountain cabin. The weather is getting worse every minute. He has left her to go into town for supplies. They are completely out of food. The children cry, hungry in their beds. She goes out to wait for him by the river. Fearing in her heart and soul that he might be lost, in the frigid darkness. She waits hoping and praying. She waits even as her body grows numb. She waits for the warmth of his touch. A touch that never comes. She waits...She waits...forever.
