Which One Doesn't Belong?

One of my dogs had a litter of one puppy. Mama dog decided the puppy needed littermates, so all on her own she dug into the closet and picked out some Beanie Babies to put in there with her puppy.

Jeanne, What a touching and endearing story. I can't imagine anyone loving dogs more than me until I see the photos of your gorgeous dogs. I know how it fees to fall in love with a breed and the individual characters of the precious family members we will always treasure now and in memory. I started out with doxies and have a shot of my dog Ethyl who loved to dive off diving boards. I caught her in the air just like you did. Living in Malibu, I had my two doxies and after falling in love with an undernourished Irish Setter puppy from a puppy mill that I rescued that began a love affair with Setters for life. Malibu and the beach was heaven for my 7 dogs, 5 setters to add to the two doxies, 3 Irish, 1 English and ! Gordan. I was amazed to find that the red and white Setters that were field Spaniels in the 1700's before the red setters or english setters were bred were not extinct. I saw her on the internet and thought she was a historical photo. Molly is anything, but history. As you can see if you have looked at my dog photos and her under Supernatual, my story of her relationship with her GrandWitch she is such a character. She is only one like your darling puppy would love being piled up with plush littermates. The plush littermate is me since she sits on me and sleeps on my head. THe breed was resurrected since there were only 7 remaining after WWI and now there are 1,000 so she is rare in every way. It is great to know another passionate dog lover. I look forward to watching the adventures of your beautiful Border Collies.

Artist Reply: Julie ~ Wow! I thought I had a houseful with 6 Border Collies, but 7 large setters and two doxies is a real handful :-) I saw a documentary on the red and white setters a couple of years ago. It would be lovely if they AKC allowed them to be shown here in the U.S. at AKC shows. I like all the setters, but I'm particularly fond of the Gordon Setters. I'd love to meet a red and white setter in person one of these days though. Thanks for sharing about your lovely dogs. I'm always glad to know another doggie friend :-)

LOL THAT IS SO CUTE

Artist Reply: She was definitely a little cutie. I felt so bad that she didn't have any littermates to play with. My older dogs acted like she was an alien - LOL! Needless to say she was a very people oriented puppy :-)
