I find this image so interesting. The light has gone out of the lamp. The light has gone out of his eyes. The eyes are the windows of the soul, is his soul darkened too. He is holding a key, and standing with the moon illuminating the darkeness behind him. The animals on the wall? Beautiful and mysterious. I love it.
