Onyx Night/Remote Viewer

This piece is indicative of what I had referred to all my life as "Voyeur Dreaming". A good 70% of my dream states are in this setting; I am never "in" the dream, merely a voyeur, a spectator. I would say it was likened unto watching a screen, but this is only partly true. I find a more descriptive way to convey the situation would be as follows; I seem to hover in a corner of the room where these people might be, yet they are unaware of my presence. If outside, I am sitting or hovering above them somewhere off to the side. These dreams can be disturbing as I cannot interact in them. I cannot help either should a certain scenario arise that is abusive in nature. One is supposed to use their dreams to "work through" their own problems, but seeing as these don't seem to include me nor solicit my help, there is no closure. I am awakened feeling frustrated. I am now familiar with the concept of "remote viewing". This could certainly be what is happening here. This painting depicts the way I feel in these dreams; present, but in the dark.
