Colonel Mortimer's Shot

©Seth F. Weaver, Sr. 04/25/11. Another image inspired by a Sergio Leone spaghetti western, this time it is “For a Few Dollars More” and Lee Van Cleef is drawing a bead on an escaping criminal. This work is an extreme Mixed Media. Acrylics on black sand…it has an encaustic look to it that I like. Thanks for looking and commenting everyone!

What a unique look! It does look encaustic! How did you get the sand to stick?
