Where you can't follow

Elephants on the Northern Tuli Game reserve, from my recent trip to Botswana/South Africa. What an exciting morning. They watched us watching them for 30 minutes or so, then decided they'd had enough and wandered away on a neighbouring landowners reserve, with just the hint of a peek over her shouldre to check we wouldn't follow! This is an acrylic painting on canvas.

Beautiful movement and great detail. Liz, you have wonderful artworks!

Artist Reply: Thanks Anneke, really appreciate your feedback. I love your study of a lion - great character clear in his eyes.

INCREDIBLE PAINTING, LIZ. YOU ARE SO VERY TALENTED.

Artist Reply: Thanks Sharon, you have some beautiful works yourself. Your landscapes are especially striking.

Great use of acrylic, brilliant composition!

Artist Reply: Thanks Hannah. It was the last photo I took of them before tney disappeared into the bush. They move so fast and yet are almost completely silent - amazing animals and huge privilege to see them in the wild. Love your portrait work. Still an area I'm trying to master!
