Amazing details and excellent color composition! So Masterfully captured!

Artist Reply: Thank you John. These horses live on an island off the coast and they have extended bellies because of the see grass and weed they eat. They are 100 % wild.

Wow, Don, such a wonderful painting, great and expressive work on each of the horses and also the background.

Artist Reply: Thank you Teresa, I am really glad you liked this one. I have been on a run of horse paintings and there is one more I want to do but that will take me a while on that one. Thank you again.

look like in S.C., liK tHS!

Artist Reply: I know they have an island in SC where the horses swim out to it and they are pretty much the same thing. This one is right off of the Coast of Maryland. I am glad you like this one and I appreciate the comment.

WOW DON! SUCH A BEAUTY. LOVE THIS.

Artist Reply: Thank you so much for your kind words Sharon. It causes me joy when you tell me you like my work as I trust you to give me honest opinions. This painting was done from a photo my sister took when she went on vacation down there with her husband. Just so you know the reason that the horses seem to have large stomachs is because they do. They get that way from eating sea oats as their staple diet. I sometimes wish I had as good an excuse as that for my size other then I love to eat. Thank you again and I am really happy that you liked this.
