Master of the Moors

©Seth F. Weaver,Sr.03/19/09. He floats gently and silently on velvet wings seeking food for his brood and himself. This is the master of the moors. A master hunter of the night he must hurray for dawn is approaching and if he can’t snare something in those razor talons he’ll go hungry for another night. His brood could die and his whole species with it. All he has is stealth, speed, and unbelievable sight and hearing all that and silent flight. A Compullage™ work featuring an old abstract landscape of mine and a barn owl.

Seth, your landscape in the background looks fantastic with the colours of the beautiful bird.

Artist Reply: Thank you dear Anneke for your comment. The background is an old work of mine "Dawn on the Moors." I was going through some of my old works and the idea of the owl seemed to fit this composition.
