Random Leaves

Sorry, this isn't really a landscape, but I DID find the leaves outdoors. This is just a sketchbook watercolor. I was getting tired of putting up only oil paintings.

this is the look I so love with watercolor, this is so very lovely and well done!!!!!

Artist Reply: Thank you so much, Ruth! Thank you.too, for the magic tip on using acrylics to get a transparent watercolor look. It explains why it didn't work when I tried it.

This is so realistic, like a photo of leaves. Sure I can tell it is a painting but it is so life-like. Awesome job!!!! :o)

AWESOME WATERCOLOR, CAROLYN.

Artist Reply: Sharon, Thank you for your kind (and speedy!) comment. I was going to write to ask you something: Will you tell your fans the story behind the beautiful acrylic of a peacock on the grave of someone named "Hank"? Your works often have a sense of mystery, suggesting a story behind them. XO, Carolyn
