This moose youngster is estimated at about 6-8 mo. old..not even half grown. We found him grazing in the neighbor's yard as the kids went off to school. He came into our yard after being spooked by some moving vans nearby. He hung out for a good bit and I got to take advantage of it. This guy has been around for some time in this area. I believe that he is the same "Calf in a Snow storm" that I took this winter. The timing is about right. He's about twice the size he was then. Looks like he was in a fight with something fanged but he's grown out nicely into a handsome proud young bull.
