Photo #10 in "The Perfect Day" series, beginning with #210, taken Nov. 4, 2004...(last one). Before heading back to the truck, my daughter and I split up to find different photo settings. I went off-trail to find the "reflection" shot. She stayed on-trail and took some beautiful shots of the meadow. We both got what we were looking for, but I was the one on a near vertical slope trying to hold still while balancing on a tree root...and not falling 12 ft to the shoreline. The 2nd photo is her coming along the shoreline to get me...it was time to head back. Hope you have enjoyed this hike as much as I have reliving "The Perfect Day". There have been many other days that were wonderful times shared with each other, but this was a special one to us both. As the holidays start coming into full swing, I won't be spending much time at AW, as I imagine will be the same for many of you. I sincerely hope that all of you find peace in your hearts as well as in your lives, no matter your religion or beliefs. We all belong to the same human race. May we all live in peace and harmony and take care of this wonderful earth in the process. We must all come together, for apart, we die. Much love to you and your families as this year comes to an end. I thank you VERY much for your support in the past year!!! Peace Be With You in the Coming Year and Always!!! See you in 2008!!!! :)
