On the 28th of August (this month) there will be a full moon eclipse in the astrological sign of Pisces. This painting is partly inspired by this event. The sign Pisces is a water sign,ruled by the planet Neptune, the essence of the Piscean energy is dreamy, creative, inspired by visions and in touch with magic and the spiritual realms,as well as being highly intuitive and sensitive.

Susan. this is outstanding!!!. you are a good inspiration to me. your use of colours are beautiful. you make me want to paint right now but it's 1 am and i should sleep hahaha. i am particularly fond of how you've done the waves in the sea. i love that technique, i've not seen it done before. On my sea pictures of moonlight i've just done little horizontal lines. So forgive me if i, maybe try dotting it, it's very impressive and creates a beautiful atmosphere :)Gautam Thoidingjam 06 Dec 2007
