This is an extraordinary photograph of the psyche of Michael Forbus. The colors, the keen intellect reflected in the lizard's eyes and the psychdelic after effects of blue agave, the God they pray to and sip the waters of his springs are all apparent in the extraorindary inside view of the magical and enchanted intrapsychic life of Michael who paints what he sees and now has given us a visual representation of his exceptional creative intelligence that lives within him. This is dazzling? I just met some creatures from Dune Messiah by Frank Herbert who are blue with hot pink noses. I think they live on the same planet in a a gaseous medium imbued with a hallucinogenic spice, melange, which heightens their innate paranomal and telephathic powers. I don't know if yor colorful blue lizard has met them, but the environment looks very similar. The Guild Steerman's entire diet is comprised of the addictive spice. whih they eat, drik and breathe melange . Their daily life cycle shifts from a "night" period of extreme topor (not stupor) to piced-incuced "day" of activity. Please check out my photograph framed in a silver frame called the Twilight Princess. We have finally located her living among african blue lizards. If you read the book Dune and Dune Messiah by Frank Herbert, you will understand how well you have captured the essence of this psychedelic lizard and how perfectly he represents the physical characteristics of what I perceived as well in my first abstract photo that resembles your "paintography."

Artist Reply: My dear Julie, I thank you for taking the time to get to know the little fellow. I DO think he was fond of the cinnamon scented spice that had him in the golden handcuffs. Excellent passage. You have a way with words that goes beyond the ears and into the psyche. I miss our verbal fun. I finished the heritage houses and am working on the old landscaped springs 100s of years old. So always busy but a break after 4 more and then I am working on a very special project. A large one. Loads of fun and quite the mountain to climb, but that is what I do. My love to you and yours and thank you for your lovely words. Michael

Beautiful, Miguel! Did you add colors or enhance the originals? I don't really care for lizards but, now, this is a handsome fellow. He looks like he is covered in jewels and close enough for comfort in your art!
