An exquisite blown bowl of Dale Chihuly laying rather in a cavalier fashion in the fall leaves in the Botanical Gardens in St. Louis worth about 5 thou. Photograph copyright by Michael Forbus
really fine work here--love the setting and the bold blue.
Artist Reply: Joe, I have an opportunity to do paintings of this collection of a man who has a huge collection of this Dale Chihuly work in paintings digital style of my style, I will find out this week. Wish me luck, a large commission for many pieces. Thanks for taking the time to visit and give me the great encouragement. I really appreciate it. Michael
Michael, this is a gorgeous bowl and terrific photograph! When I visited your portfolio I was immediately drawn to this... probably because of the saturated cobalt blue color surrounded by various yellows, etc. Have seen Chihulys work in Hot Springs.... but this presentation is even better.

Now here's a blue to die for. I'd bet this would be like the Great Wall of China. You'd spot this from the moon no problem. Excelent image MiguelJagoda Lane 20 Jan 2007
