This piece is a study for a new painting I am planning to do. The study is based on my original painting 'Lunar Buddha' (Acrylic on Canvas 150cm x150cm) You might find it interesting to have a look at the original piece on my portfoilio page. I used a simple photo editing program to manipulate the original photograph and added layers of sanskrit text and washes of colour. I have been painting with a very monchrome pallette and want to use more colour in my paintings so I am quite happy with the results and feel inspired for painting. This is the 2nd study which is more vibrant and abstract than Buddha 1
