Federica Bentivoglio 28 Oct 2007

wonderful portrait of a very important man. I like also a lot the choose of colours... great artwork!

John Green 27 Oct 2007

I remember seeing photos of Wayne at the time of his death. (1972?) This shows his haggard appearance well while still holding some life and dignity. I was and still am a great fan of Wayne. This is a side of all of us that we will face (pun intended)

Lin Withers 24 Oct 2007

Love this - big JW fan. Great work!

radfax radfax 14 Oct 2007

I like the use of colour here, though it looks like JW would have been pretty ill if he sat for this one, maybe that is how you pictured him the day before he died, looks pretty worn out. Though it's a great picture I like to think oof the man with, if not a bit more color at least a bit more life. Looks like he could do an guest appearance in Zombie flesh eaters lol. Still never the less a great picture.

Tom Schmidt 08 Aug 2007

Cool made! The way of cold colours! I like it very much! I think I have to work with this idea of colouring in one of my next pics!

Actually I've always thought old men looked rather ugly. I'm not all that sure who John Wayne is, either. But on the positive side, I'm honestly impressed with how well you managed to detail it and get it looking as realistic and attractive as it is. The red blush is a good touch, too!

Jeane Nevarez 13 Feb 2006

I can't believe you create all these artworks with just ballpoint pen?? It is amazing. I've never seen anything like it. I am astounded at the amount of detail and fine value control you can do. What is the size of these pieces? Are they very large?

Steph Salt 13 Feb 2006

This is a truely beautiful portrait of the Duke, and the touch of red makes it really stand out from the crown Jerry. His eyes are wonderful and unmistaably his, so is the nose mouth and the left hand side of his face. But some how the jaw on the left just isn't quite right, unless this is taken from a photo, that was taken when he had lost a lot of weight due to the cancer? I do know that if I hide that part of his face, the rest ju7st looks like a photo it's that good. He was one of my favourites of all times :D

joan warburton 13 Feb 2006
