Kathy's Puppy

A friend of mine asked for a portrait of her puppy,she won her first Best of Breed recently. It is Acrylic 9x12. Enjoyed painting all the fur!

I JUST LOVE THESE DOGS!!!! I HAVE 2 BORDER COLLIES AND I LOVE BEARDED COLLIES TOO!!!! IF I COULD EVER TALK MY HUSBAND INTO ANOTHER DOG IT WOULD BE A BEARDED COLLIE!!!! SUCH A GREAT CAPTURE!!!!

From Kathy, Cupcake's "mother" - For anyone who is interested, Cuppy is a Bearded Collie and Ana so captured the unique personality (should that be doginality?) of this fun breed. BTW - there is a lot more coat length now; Cuppy just turned 14 months and is no where near her full coat :-o We all love the painting and the rest of Ana's work
