Here is another watercolor that I pulled from a stash of rejected watercolors in my closet. He was fun to do and I had to redraw his body to a side profile--the initial one had his rump facing the viewer. Unfortunately this photo has reflections in it from the glass, but you can see how he turned out. It's currently on display in a hospital in Bellevue WA. I pondered on the background, then decided to put pine trees and a mountain behind the elk.
