Mekhitar Garabedian presents his solo exhibition at the Municipal Museum of Contemporary Art. He examines how the rupture caused by migration continues to determine the present and how multilingualism shapes the position and psyche of migrants. In addition to numerous references to literature, music and philosophy his work also refers to other visual artists. Visiting the SMAK in Gand and looking through the window, I see only our car.. not a lot of ppl.... but we love to be in fast empty museums...

LOOKS LIKE A GREAT PLACE TO BE, NELLY. i DO NOT MIND BEING THE ONLY ONE IN A MUSEUM. YOU CAN GO AT YOUR PACE AND THINK AND LOOK LEISURELY.Anonymous Guest 10 Jan 2012
My Mother had a pram just like that, large and empty, except for the sack of potatoes and the turnips, but the wheels kept falling off and I HAD TO WALK BESIDE HER. Childhood can be tough...if you dont smoke. I likre your car Nelly.Stefani Wehner 10 Jan 2012
